About us

A recruitment firm that does one thing

No payroll division, no training arm, no software to upsell. Just recruitment, done by people who have spent long enough in these markets to be useful.

Who we are

Built by recruiters, not by a sales floor

GCS Solutions is a recruitment and executive search firm. That is the whole business — we do not sell payroll, training or software alongside it, and we are not trying to grow into those.

The work is narrow on purpose. A consultant who covers one market properly will beat a generalist covering six, every time, and the only way to cover a market properly is to spend years in it.

Our clients are companies that treat hiring as a serious decision. Our candidates are people who would rather be told the truth than be flattered onto a shortlist.

What we are here to do

Make hiring decisions better, not faster for its own sake. A role filled in three weeks with the wrong person costs more than the same role filled in eight with the right one. We optimise for the second outcome and try to get there quickly anyway.

Where we want to be

The firm a hiring manager calls first because the last three shortlists were worth their time — and the firm a candidate answers the phone to because we did not waste it the year before.

How we operate

Six things we hold to

Say the difficult thing early

If the budget will not buy the profile, you hear it in week one, not month three.

Consent before anything moves

No candidate profile leaves our hands without that person agreeing to it first.

Depth over coverage

We would rather decline a mandate than take one in a market we do not know.

Quality over throughput

Three real candidates beats thirty forwarded CVs, and it is not close.

Confidentiality as default

Both sides of a search deserve discretion, not just the one paying the fee.

Finish what we start

The mandate is not closed at offer. It is closed once the person is settled in.
